Liz Leismer
Liz is a Midwest native, born and raised in Michigan, but she took on the title of “Chicago transplant” in 2006. Her belief in giving back to the community and recognizing inspirational leaders aligns perfectly with the mission of Driving the Midwest, and she’s excited to be a part of the program. Though most of her transportation occurs by bus, train or foot, Liz has an appreciation for vehicles that withstand the Midwest weather (and city traffic). When she’s not connecting with others on social media, Liz can be found making a mess in the kitchen, melting in a hot yoga class, getting crafty or exploring hidden coffee shops and restaurants in her neighborhood.
