Calling all Captains!

Do you want to help support military families? Do you have a network, both online and offline, you can rally to collect care baby shower items for local expectant military wives? Would you love a new set of wheels for a week to pick up the supplies your network is donating?

We’re looking for motivated community leaders to take on the role as captain for our Operation Precious CARgo event on March 22!

All captains will receive a one-week loan of a Chevrolet vehicle as well as a Captain’s Kit supplying them with everything they’ll need, including a list of baby shower items to collect, boxes and bags to store the supplies and communication documents to spread the word about their collections. Captains will have three weeks to fulfill the supply list and can collect items at work, home, school or wherever is most convenient. Collections will begin the week of March 5 and will conclude on March 22.
