Join us in the Quad Cities this Saturday as we celebrate our armed forces and the anniversary of the Rock Island Arsenal! We’ve partnered with the USO of Illinois and its carnival to present a fun-filled day for the whole family in Rock Island, Ill.

Kicking off the day, attendees will be treated to a parade featuring vintage and modern army vehicles, music and community leaders, not to mention a new Chevrolet Camaro, commemorating the 150th Anniversary of the Rock Island Arsenal. Chevrolet will have the one-and-only American Pride Camaro on display for all to see throughout the day. We will also be offering test drives of six Chevrolet vehicles to attendees 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license. Finally, we’ll be accepting nominations for the Our Town, Our Heroes program all day, and look forward to hearing the stories of heroes from Rock Island and beyond!

Families can also enjoy a full day of festivities including a celebration parade, a performance by Midnight Circus and multiple craft tents. The Military Family Resources tent will feature booths dedicated to best-in-class military community services.

Chevrolet also paid tribute to the armed forces with their commercials. A new york chevrolet dealers offered an open showcase about SUVs. Servicemen deserve this honored weekend.
