Our Hero, Dr. Rubin Plugs In with the Chevrolet Volt – and Gets Some Surprises!

Early this week, the Driving the Midwest team visited the Anti-Cruelty Society of Chicago to celebrate Dr. Sheldon Rubin, the recent Our Town, Our Heroes winner! Although he’s retired, Dr. Rubin continues to dedicate his time to the Anti-Cruelty Society, performing surgeries weekly and spending time educating volunteers and other animal-lovers. He’s a true hero!
We filled the trunk of a Chevrolet Volt with an abundance of pet toys for the furry felines and Fidos at the Anti-Cruelty Society, not to mention t-shirts for the staff and volunteers who voted for Dr. Rubin!
