I must admit, when the Cadillac Escalade arrived at my home, I was somewhat intimidated by the size. However, once I got in, I immediately became comfortable behind the wheel. The next thing I noticed was how smooth the drive was – in fact, it was smoother than the smaller SUV we own.

As a working mother of two small children, we have contemplated moving into a larger vehicle. As most of you in the same situation know, smaller vehicles do not leave much room for car seats, strollers and the many diaper bag essentials to bring along. The Escalade definitely offered the space we desired. The DVD screens in each of the head rests were an added bonus for the children to enjoy their own movies.

The Escalade was definitely put to the test with our busy lives; taking the kids to daycare, trips to the office and multiple trips to Chicago can sometimes be a hassle for driving. Because we had so much space in the vehicle, we even decided to pack everything up and go on a weekend family road trip. The Escalade fit in well with everyday tasks and gave us an enjoyable road trip experience.

Overall, I found the Escalade to be a great family vehicle, especially if you are a family who enjoys road trips or is constantly on the go.
