Good deeds come in all shapes and sizes. Some go unnoticed, simply because the act of kindness was so small it may not have turned heads; however, every little act of “good” builds on another, moving people, communities and our world toward something better.
I recently started paying closer attention to the simple acts of kindness around me, whether it’s during my commute to and from work, while waiting in line for my morning coffee or at my favorite yoga studio. In fact, I’ve even noticed the idea of doing good deeds has resonated with Chicagoans so much that a campaign, One Good Deed Chicago, has come to life. Whether you’re looking to get involved on a larger scale or simply need a little inspiration and motivation from others, be sure to check it out.
