GMC-OnStar Hidden Treasure Adventure

GMC and OnStar are sending six do-it-yourself bloggers to hit the road along the 127 Sale, also known as the World’s Longest Yard Sale, route to discover hidden treasures with the 2012 GMC Yukon Denali XL and OnStar. The annual 127 Sale is celebrating its 25th year in 2012. Over the years, the sale has expanded to cover six states along Highway 127 from Hudson, Mich. to Gadsden, Ala., and has grown in popularity, now being known as a way for people to find hidden treasures among the thousands of yard sales along the highway.

As part of GMC and OnStar’s partnership with Habitat for Humanity organizations in Detroit and Birmingham, Ala. to support the build of a new home, the bloggers will search for fun and unique household decorations to donate to Habitat for Humanity – Birmingham. Once they arrive at the new home, the bloggers will use their special skills and all items purchased along the 127 Sale to decorate the home. The home dedication and surprise reveal will take place on Sunday, August 5 in Birmingham, Ala.
