The Chevrolet Camaro has a rich history in the world of automobiles. Not only is it one of the most glorified muscle cars of yesteryear, it is also a very popular sports car today. Many of us have seen the famous “Camaro SS” badge and the new convertible look, but did you know about these special edition Camaros?
- Honor and Valor – This new Chevrolet Camaro is only available to active duty military. Less than 100 of these vehicles are currently being produced.
- Yenko Edition: These super cars were simply about performance. Custom built by racecar driver Dan Yenko, this special edition Camaro continues to be one of the rarest and most sought after muscle cars today.
- Transformers: Remember the 2007 blockbuster hit “Transformers” and the famous yellow Camaro? In 2010, Chevrolet released a special edition “Bumblebee” Camaro loaded with logos and designs from the movie. Unfortunately, this model didn’t transform into an alien robot.
- IROC-Z: In 1985, Chevrolet introduced a new Camaro model — the IROC-Z, named after the popular competition International Race of Champions. This famous Camaro was produced for only five years and made Car and Driver magazine’s 1985 “Ten Best” list.
