Voting for an Our Town, Our Heroes Finalist

Our Town, Our Heroes votes are essential to naming the winning hero. In fact, without your help, we would have difficulty choosing a winner! Please remember the official rules when determining who will receive your vote.

The official rules state there is a “limit of one vote per IP address per day.” This means that you cannot vote multiple times from the same computer and if your workplace has a single IP address, only one vote will be counted per day. We still encourage you to vote from your home computer or mobile device if you are unable to vote from your office.

We recently found a situation, not limited to a single finalist, where single IP addresses were responsible for multiple votes in the same day. As a result, we removed the additional votes to ensure accordance with the official rules. We have updated the poll to prevent someone from placing additional votes from the same IP address in the future and will continue to monitor to ensure voting remains fair for each finalist.
